Wow! Wow! Wow! What can I say about this place.

We stopped here for dinner really late at night and I asked the man working, which items I could eat if I'm both lactose and gluten intolerant. He let me know I could eat any of the pho meals. My boyfriend and I picked one and were waiting for him to come back to our table for over 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, we went up to the front to order the dish we decided on, since the employee wasn't returning to our table (the restaurant was pretty empty too). He then said the tofu had gluten and we had to change our dish. We ended up ordering a chicken pho with rice noodles and extra vegetables.

About 10 minutes later, I had to go up to the front of the restaurant to ask him for water. He then made a comment about how we were too picky as he thought he already gave us water. Then he realized he had not. When the water arrived the glasses he had brought were dirty and I asked for new ones. When we finally received new glasses, I took a sip and noticed the water had a really weird flavour. We asked for a new pitcher of water and he made a comment about how no one else complained and he asked if we wanted bottled water instead. We said ok and he brought us a bottle.

When the soup arrived the bowls he brought to our table were dirty. I wanted a new one but the man working here was being pretty rude so we used the napkins at the table to clean them.

    How was the Food?
The pho was pretty bland. The broth didn't have much flavour and it was pretty average to slightly below average. The herbs we received with our pho were pretty gross. The mint had black spots all over it and did not appear to be fresh.

    Would we Return?
It is very unlikely. We did not have a good experience!

but for the fact that this place is 24-hrs it would warrant zero stars, the standard herein is akin to the prosecution of Simba in the murder of his own father Mufasa. THE BUT FOR TEST. 5 stars   Life is 24 hrs and so should you be

Pho Pasteur is located in the heart of Toronto Chinatown and was recommended by Kai Lee (his dad is a pretty big deal in Toronto food scene). This was my first time being here and you just seat yourself and write down your order. This joint is CASH ONLY!

Order the jumbo size egg rolls; it's filled with meat and toro, this monster came cut up with vermicelli noodles and a bed of lettuce. There's a lot of crunch in this eggroll- they used the rice wrapper vs. the egg roll wrapper (big difference) Fish sauce was A1, not to sweet or tart. I ordered the #1 which came with a little bit of every type of meats; meatball, tripe, and tendon.  The pho broth had a northern vietnam inspired flavor; a little bit of cinnamon and star anise.

Overall, it was pretty good for Vietnamese food in Chinatown. Flavor was pretty authentic. I love how this place is open 24/7 (drunk food cure) lol. anyways, if you're visiting Toronto, this should be one of your bookmarked places; esp. if you love vietnamese food. I highly suggest taking an uber because parking sucks here. Oh yea, don't forget to BRING CASH or else you're SOL!

They don't accept USD or only at face value If you're just passing through like we did. Took our money at dollar for dollar which after our meal gave them extra $40 cad which we said would be for tip and they got mad we didn't tip extra.....

Pho-tasted good but had a sour taste to it and not sweet.

Other than that the pho was also pretty expensive for a small- $11.50 cad but for a 24/7 pho place in the middle of the night. We made do.
